This course takes uses through the core MQ objects, common topologies associated with MQ and MQ modernization and observability. Specifically, the course covers: MQ Fundamentals, Clustering, Queue-sharing, Publish/Subscribe, Triggering, Security, Kafka, and Observability. Users will see interaction with MQ for z/OS via TN3270, MQ Explorer, and the MQ Web Console - reflecting today's methods for how z/OS users are interfacing with MQ. the By the end of the course, users should be able to interact with MQ for z/OS, understand how core administrative actions are performed and have a technical conversation about MQ architecture on z/OS.
