This course will test your knowledge of the most important and common licensing issues. It has been developed to drive consistency and quality among the Authorized SAM Provider cohort. You will be issued with a badge once you successfully complete the quiz.

Syllabus

Demonstrate an understanding of how entitlements are counted and the correct treatment of these in common licensing scenarios.
Identify key data needs when measuring deployments.
Understand the common misunderstandings and errors which an Authorized SAM Provider may come across when assisting an IASP client with the preparation of a baseline or periodic report.
Evaluate example licensing scenarios and determine the proper compliance position.
Demonstrate an understanding of virtualization and the tools used to ensure that clients remain compliant and eligible for related IBM licensing policies.
