Professional visual communication used to demand expensive software and hours of manual editing. Generative AI has changed that. The challenge now is knowing which tools to reach for, how to prompt them well, and how to keep the results trustworthy. This course turns that uncertainty into a repeatable creative workflow.

In Module 1 you work inside Microsoft Designer to transform raw, cluttered photos into cohesive brand assets. You will use generative erase to remove distractions, background expansion to reshape images for any channel, and stylistic filters to match brand guidelines, learning when generative editing beats traditional adjustment.

In Module 2 you move from editing to creation. You will master a four-block prompt framework that controls mood, lighting, composition, and medium in Image Creator from Microsoft Designer, then build a human-in-the-loop auditing routine to catch hallucinations and mitigate bias before anything is published. You finish by assembling a Visual Narrative Storyboard portfolio.

This course is for non-technical individual contributors and leaders, including marketing specialists, educators, and instructional designers, who want to communicate visually with confidence and use AI responsibly. No prior design or technical experience is required.
