This course provides an introduction to NIMS intrastate mutual aid and assistance. You will learn about the purpose and benefits of mutual aid and assistance. This course is designed for State, local, and tribal emergency response and coordination personnel and takes approximately two and a half hours to complete.

Prerequisites

The prerequisite for this course is IS-700: National Incident Management Systems (NIMS), An Introduction.
