Exploring contemporary British culture and language

The course is made up of five learning units and the aim is to provide a grammar and lexical review, level B1/B2, through the study of British culture by using a CLIL methodology. The contents of the course are bound to the geography and demography of the United Kingdom, contemporary fantasy and children’s literature, films, television and humour, music and fashion. In each unit, listening and reading comprehension skills will be developed together with a cultural competence in order to help the students to understand the United Kingdom’s multifaceted multiculturality and history.
