This course and its delivery mechanism is designed to provide pilots a means to learn and refresh radio communication phraseology and procedures at non-towered airports and when transmitting on CTAF. We utilize an innovative way to deliver the training content and to quiz the users on their knowledge retention. The Aviation Radio Simulator, ARSim, provides pilots a hands-on learning experience whereby users can practice the aviation communication concepts and build proficiency. Users will be provided an overview of each lesson and Help on how to conduct the radio transmissions in each scenario. The practical test at the end of the course will present users with a flying scenario and they will be expected to conduct radio communications without any help from the simulator.It will take a learner approximately 30 minutes to complete.
