Have you ever wanted to try to reduce the maintenance costs on your aircraft but didn't know what you could or couldn't do? This course will define what Preventive Maintenance is. It will explain which persons are authorized to perform preventive maintenance. This course will explain the maintenance record entries that must be made in the aircraft log books after you perform preventive maintenance. This course will discuss the performance rule in general from the Federal Aviation Regulations. The course will also go through the list of Preventive Maintenance Items found in FAR 43 Appendix A.
