Instructors become good at teaching the skills for FAA Practical Tests in their training fleet aircraft. When providing Flight Reviews, IPC and transition training in other aircraft types there are often changes in technique required to accomplish tasks and maneuvers driven by the specific characteristics of those aircraft.Topics we cover include:• The case for type-specific training• What is a Type Club, and why are they so important to airplane owners and pilots?• How to find instructional resources applicable to the airplane in which you'll instruct• What resources are available through Type Clubs thatThis course content will take approximately 73 minutes to complete.
