Airspace in much of the Pacific mandates Oceanic Required Navigation Performance (RNP) capability. Additionally, effective June 5, 2008, RNP-10 was implemented in the airspace off the East Coast of the United States and much of the Caribbean (known as the Western Atlantic Route System, or WATRS). Operator authorization and crew training are required for Oceanic RNP operation.This Course Provides Crew training needed for the Letter of Authorization (LOA) for Part 91 operators and for the Operations Specifications authorization for Part 135 operators; Training to meet the requirements of FAR 135.345 for initial training, and FAR 135.351, Part 125.287(4) & (5) and 91.1065 of Subpart K for recurrent training; Satisfies IS-BAO recurrent training requirements.
