The most basic skills needed to begin any sheet metal project are reviewed including how to get a project started, along with the basic do's and don'ts of working with sheet metal. Students will understand what the surface development of a part is, what highlight lines and neutral zones are, and what the basic tools for working with sheet metal are. Students will also understand safetyprecautions that must be observed when working with sheet metal.
