This training explores the Just Culture framework within a Safety Management System, focusing on the transition from a punitive environment to a Trust Culture. It provides a roadmap for distinguishing between human error and willful misconduct to promote a healthier, more transparent reporting environment. The objective is to teach trainees what “Just Culture” is as well as how to apply the Substitution Test and 5 Whys to safety events while minimizing Outcome Bias.
