The night shift is a necessity in the aviation maintenance business. Individuals react differently to lack of sleep, but everyone needs to be aware of changes to the human body as a result of shift work. This course explores the physiological changes mechanics experience in working the night shift. Students will learn about the various disorders related to shift work. Students will review the effects of sleep deprivation and learn about the way working at night affects their body and mind.
