The Aeronautical Decision Making process applies to all forms of flight. Flying lighter than air - free balloons, the situations, sensitivities and environment are quite different than found with winged flight. This course has been adapted for LTA-free- balloon from the content used by winged flight and the "Ballooning Flying Handbook", an FAA publication. It is followed by three scenarios set in the northwest US.
