The "Mechanical Manufacturing Internship" online course is aimed at undergraduates majoring in machinery, materials, aerospace and aviation, etc. It aims to guide students to learn manufacturing process knowledge, enhance engineering practice capabilities, improve engineering literacy, and cultivate innovative spirit and abilities.
The course implements new teaching concepts and adopts a new teaching model of "student-centered, maker-driven, project guidance, teamwork, and cross-integration". Students not only gain knowledge and develop abilities during internships, but more importantly, improve their thinking. The course mainly includes 10 units including casting, forging, welding, turning, milling, benchwork, woodworking, special processing, 3D printing, intelligent manufacturing, and electronic manufacturing. The main content includes three aspects: 1. Teaching practical engineering knowledge and basic knowledge of materials, performance, status, manufacturing and use of parts and software. 2. Guide students to initially practice various processing and manufacturing technologies. 3. Cultivate students' scientific style of being rigorous and realistic, integrating theory with practice, and cultivate engineering awareness of responsibility, safety, quality, environmental protection, teamwork, cost, management, market, innovation, etc.
