With AWS Application Discovery Service, customers can plan
migration projects by gathering information about on-premises data
centers. The Application Discovery Service agents collect configuration,
usage, and behavior data from servers about the workloads they run. You
can use the collected data to help estimate the total cost of ownership
(TCO) of running on AWS and to plan a migration to AWS. You can also
view the data in AWS Migration Hub, where you can plan to migrate the
discovered servers to AWS and follow the migration progress.
In this lab, you install Application Discovery Service agents, and use the AWS AWS Migration Hub to view the collected data.
