Syllabus

  • Beyond the Bar Chart
    • In this chapter, you’ll go beyond basic bar charts to explore advanced ways of visualizing trends and comparisons in Sigma. You’ll learn to build and format line and area charts, customize visuals with colors and labels, and use combo charts with multiple axes to simplify complex data.
  • Pie Charts and Small Multiples
    • In this chapter, you’ll learn how to visualize part-to-whole relationships and compare categories across multiple dimensions using Sigma. You’ll build and customize pie and donut charts, and create multi-faceted views by trellising on one or two values. This will help you turn complex datasets into organized grids of small multiples, making it easier to highlight proportions, patterns, and relationships in your data.
  • KPI and Gauge Charts
    • In this chapter, you’ll create and customize KPI and Gauge charts in Sigma to track business performance. You’ll build KPI charts with key metrics, timelines, and comparisons, and explore how Gauge charts show progress toward targets. You’ll configure their components, adjust ranges, and apply custom formatting to make performance indicators clear and visually impactful.
