In the first course of CCNA, the basic part of networking system discussed. the layers of OSI briefly demonstrated. In the first layer- Physical layer, the most visible and touchable components like hub, repeaters and cables are discussed.

In layer two - data link layer, switch is present as a device. In the rest of discussion, a close look at how router and switch are configured done. How VLAN is used to reduce the number of switches is also discussed. The commands to configure VLAN on adding vlans and names are clearly illustrated.

In summary, I found it indispensable in acquiring the necessary informations on networking.
