Syllabus

  • Mastering the Virtual Camera
    • This module introduces you to the power and flexibility of Unreal Engine’s virtual camera system. You’ll learn to navigate camera workflows, create dynamic animations, and use tracking techniques to simulate realistic motion and perspectives. By the end of this module, you’ll be able to craft cinematic sequences and understand how virtual cameras enhance storytelling in real-time environments.
  • Chroma Key & Live Integration
    • Take your production skills to the next level with real-time compositing and live setup techniques. This module covers both offline and live chroma keying, allowing you to blend real-world footage with virtual environments. You’ll also explore DMX configuration to sync lighting and effects for live shoots, and learn how to integrate all elements into a functioning virtual production pipeline.
  • Bringing It All Together
    • In the final module, you’ll combine everything you’ve learned into a complete virtual production workflow. You’ll analyze a full project demonstration, practice rendering high-quality cinematic outputs using Movie Render Queue, and bring together virtual environments, camera movement, and live input into one polished, professional scene. This capstone experience prepares you to deliver compelling virtual productions from start to finish.
