This course covers the heart of the Network+ exam and the foundation of every network: TCP/IP and routing. Covering approximately 4 hours and 1 minute of expert instruction across TCP/IP fundamentals and routing concepts, learners develop a deep understanding of how IP addressing, subnetting, and routing protocols enable inter-network communications. Syllabus

TCP/IP Basics & IP Addressing

This chapter is a guide to IP addressing, covering how addresses, subnetting, ARP, DHCP, and common addressing issues work together to keep networks communicating smoothly.

Routing

This chapter explores how routers move packets between networks, covering NAT, port forwarding, SOHO setup, enterprise differences, static routes, routing metrics, and major routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and FHRP.
