Syllabus

Foundations of FTP-RV-JDBC Integration

This module introduces learners to the fundamentals of Tibco Rendezvous (RV) integration with BusinessWorks (BW). It covers project setup, shared resources configuration, and Company A’s process for managing file transfers using FTP Put and dynamic variables. By the end, learners will be able to configure core resources and establish the foundation for seamless data integration.

Advanced Company Setup and Rendezvous Messaging

This module explores Company B’s environment and extends the integration with FTP Get, variable configuration, and Rendezvous messaging. Learners will design processes to retrieve files, manipulate variables, and establish reliable Publisher–Subscriber communication channels. By the end, learners will master real-time message exchange in Tibco RV.

Testing, Error Handling, and Database Integration

This module focuses on ensuring robustness through error handling, database integration, and rigorous testing. Learners will configure Oracle Database connections, implement error-handling subprocesses, and validate the entire workflow from FTP to Rendezvous to JDBC. By the end, learners will be able to perform comprehensive end-to-end testing of Tibco BW integration projects.
