Syllabus

Getting Started with QlikView

This module introduces learners to QlikView, covering installation, navigation, sheets, objects, and scripting basics. Learners will also explore core data loading techniques from Excel, text, XML, and QVD sources to build a strong foundation in data connectivity and preparation.

QlikView Functions and Visualizations

This module focuses on QlikView’s functional capabilities and visualization tools. Learners will gain hands-on experience with functions like Peek() and RangeSum(), explore transformations, and build engaging bar and pie charts while mastering the use of dimensions and measures in dashboards.

Advanced Data Modeling in QlikView

This module dives into advanced modeling concepts including joins, keep, straight and pivot tables, master calendar creation, synthetic keys, circular references, and specialized load methods. Learners will also practice applying these techniques in Actual vs. Target sales analysis.

Data Security in QlikView

This module emphasizes security concepts, covering document, object, and sheet-level access control along with QVD security practices. Learners will participate in labs to apply access restrictions and safeguard sensitive data effectively.

QlikSense ERP Project

This project-based module applies QlikSense to ERP system data. Learners will integrate application tables, perform multiple transformations, and generate actionable dashboards for accounts, orders, inventory, and customer analysis to derive enterprise-wide insights.
