Syllabus

Foundations of Primavera P6 & Navigation

This module introduces learners to the fundamentals of project management and the Primavera P6 environment. It covers the project management life cycle, key data structures, and essential navigation features within P6. Learners will gain a foundational understanding of how projects are organized, planned, and monitored using Primavera, enabling them to confidently navigate the interface and interpret project data.

Working with Activities & Views

This module focuses on managing and visualizing project activities within Primavera P6. Learners will explore how to view, select, and organize activities, use calendar views for accurate scheduling, and understand the fundamentals of resource management. The module builds practical skills required to track tasks and optimize resource allocation.

Project Setup & Structuring

This module guides learners through the process of setting up and structuring projects in Primavera P6. It includes creating projects from scratch or templates, managing project details and budgets, and building a robust Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Learners will develop the skills to organize projects systematically for better control and execution.

Advanced Execution & Activity Management

This module covers advanced project execution techniques in Primavera P6, including reporting, Earned Value Management (EVM), activity planning, and optimization.
