Build cultural humility and client-centered communication into your legal practice. This course introduces cultural humility as a practical discipline for legal professionals and firms. You'll learn its definition, principles and benefits, and use bias-awareness tools for structured self-reflection. You'll then turn to client-centered communication, including the client-communication duties of Rule 1.4, and finish with practical steps for fostering cultural humility and driving inclusivity across your firm. Your guides are Mark D. Kimball and Unsa Manzoor of MDK Law, Brent E. Johnson, and Alex T. Larkin. Each module pairs video lessons with key-takeaway readings, downloadable guides, a quiz, and a hands-on activity, and the course closes with a final assessment and an interactive role play.
