This course teaches you the key skills to deploy, scale, and manage applications in Kubernetes. You’ll start by understanding the differences between deployments, DaemonSets, and StatefulSets, and learn how to run and scale applications using these methods. You’ll cover practical deployment strategies, including using sidecar containers for logging and pod initialization. The course also introduces Helm and Kustomize, showing you how to simplify and manage complex application deployments, with hands-on experience installing and managing Helm charts. Scheduling lessons cover how to control workload placement using labels, affinity and anti-affinity rules, taints, tolerations, quotas, and priorities. Each topic includes hands-on labs so you can apply what you learn.

    • In this module, you’ll focus on workloads and how they are scheduled. You’ll learn how to run applications as deployments and explore advanced features that can help you manage your applications. You’ll also work with the HELM Package manager and gain a detailed understanding of the scheduling process.
