Introduction to Argo

Environment Setup

In this module, we will walk you through building a local development environment tailored for Argo labs. You’ll create a Docker-based Kubernetes cluster with KIND and prepare your workspace for hands-on deployment practice. This foundational setup is critical for everything you’ll implement in the coming projects.

Argo Rollouts - Blue Green Deployment

In this module, we will explore the Blue-Green deployment strategy using Argo Rollouts. You’ll perform a hands-on mission to implement staging rollouts, configure manifests with Kustomize, and execute a live release. Get ready to experience zero-downtime deployments powered by GitOps principles.

Argo Rollouts - Canary Strategy

In this module, we will deep-dive into Canary deployments using Argo Rollouts with advanced traffic control via Nginx. You’ll build a real-world progressive delivery pipeline, create detailed rollout specs, and route traffic with precision. This is where theory meets production-grade deployment execution.

ArgoCD

In this module, we will unlock the power of ArgoCD, the engine behind automated GitOps workflows. You’ll complete a hands-on mission to deploy applications to staging and production, create deployment configs via UI and YAML, and synchronize releases with branching strategies. Argo Workflows

In this module, we will introduce Argo Workflows as a powerful orchestration engine for CI automation. You’ll create pipelines, explore workflow templates, and launch automated tasks using containers, volumes, and scripts. Learn how to turn complex build logic into streamlined automation workflows.

Argo Events and Argo Image Updater

In this module, we will explore the event-driven automation power of Argo Events and Image Updater. You’ll trigger workflows via Git events, set up sensors and cron jobs, and connect CI and CD pipelines for seamless automation. This is where your pipelines run on autopilot.

Automated Experiments and Analysis - Prometheus + Grafana + Nginx + Rollouts
