Syllabus

Project - Importing AWS Lambda Resources

In this module, we will walk through the steps of importing AWS Lambda resources into Terraform. You'll learn how to import Lambda functions, roles, and associated policies into your Terraform configurations. Additionally, we will cover how to manage Lambda code and CloudWatch logs to ensure comprehensive resource management in Terraform.

Project - Building an RDS Module

In this module, we will guide you through creating an RDS module in Terraform, focusing on flexibility and security. You'll learn to define and validate variables, implement security group rules, and manage RDS instance settings. The section concludes with deploying an RDS instance and cleaning up resources.

Working with Terraform Workspaces

In this module, we will cover the creation and management of Terraform workspaces to support multiple environments. You'll learn how to configure workspace-specific settings using .tfvars files and best practices for managing resources across various workspaces. The module will also include a demonstration of cleaning up resources and workspaces.

Exploring Terraform Cloud

In this module, we will dive into the features and benefits of Terraform Cloud for remote management of your infrastructure. You will explore workspace creation, integration with GitHub, and how to manage resources using Terraform Cloud’s capabilities. The section will also cover module publishing and resource cleanup within the cloud environment.

Project - Integrating Terraform Cloud with OIDC

In this module, we will walk you through integrating Terraform Cloud with AWS using the OIDC provider. You will learn how to set up roles, attach policies, and import these configurations into Terraform for programmatic management. The project concludes by extending the OIDC provider to additional workspaces for a broader environment integration.

Conclusion
