Syllabus

  • Getting to Know Your (Programming) Environment
    • This module introduces learners to the fundamentals of setting up a Python programming environment, including installation on various platforms, writing and running basic programs, and exploring simple Python scripts.   • Turtle Graphics in Python

  • Loops
    • This module explores the fundamentals of loops in Python, including for loops, while loops, and their applications in creating dynamic and interactive visual designs with Turtle Graphics. Learners will gain hands-on experience in implementing loops for pattern generation and user interaction.
  • Conditions
    • This module explores the fundamentals of conditional logic and how it is used to make decisions in programming. Learners will gain hands-on experience with IF, ELSE, and ELIF statements, as well as learn to use comparison operators and logical operators to build dynamic and responsive code. By the end, learners will be able to implement conditional structures to solve real-world problems.
  • Random Fun and Games
    • This module explores the use of randomization and interactive programming in Python, focusing on game development and visual design. Learners will gain hands-on experience with Python's random module, Turtle Graphics, and game logic structures. By the end, they will be able to create engaging games and dynamic visual outputs.
  • Functions
    • This module explores the fundamentals of functions in Python, including how to structure code effectively, reuse functionality, and create interactive programs using Turtle Graphics. Learners will gain hands-on experience with function parameters, return values, and event handling to build dynamic applications. By the end, they will be able to design and implement modular, reusable code for a variety of interactive tasks.
