Syllabus

  • Course Introduction
    • In this module, we will introduce you to the course layout, learning methodology, and the lab-first approach. You will gain a clear understanding of the modules ahead and the Security+ skills you will build. This foundation will ensure you are ready to dive into practical cybersecurity exercises confidently.
  • Information Gathering & Basic Tools
    • In this module, we will explore the essential tools and techniques for information gathering in cybersecurity. You will practice commands like IPCONFIG, IFCONFIG, PING, and NMAP, and set up Kali Linux for practical labs. By the end, you will confidently perform footprinting, DNS interrogation, and web reconnaissance using advanced tools like Burp Suite, Shodan, and Recon-ng.
  • Network Scanning, Recon, and Vulnerabilities
    • In this module, we will dive into network scanning, vulnerability detection, and exploit testing. You will use tools like Netstat, Netcat, Nmap, Nessus, and SQLMap to uncover and understand weaknesses. By completing this section, you will gain hands-on experience in ethical hacking techniques and vulnerability analysis to improve cybersecurity resilience.
