This course features Coursera Coach! A smarter way to learn with interactive, real-time conversations that help you test your knowledge, challenge assumptions, and deepen your understanding as you progress through the course. This course empowers developers and DevOps engineers to master CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, streamlining software delivery with automation, testing, and deployment workflows. You will gain hands-on experience writing YAML workflows, managing jobs and triggers, and orchestrating workflows across multiple environments. Starting with foundational concepts, you will explore GitHub Actions’ core components such as workflows, jobs, steps, and runners. You’ll then progress through creating first workflows, integrating actions, handling artifacts, and automating pull requests and branch management to ensure smooth CI/CD practices. Next, the course dives into advanced topics including reusable workflows, self-hosted runners, Kubernetes deployment, Selenium testing, custom images, Helm integration, and creating custom actions. Each module builds practical skills through step-by-step demonstrations, ensuring you can confidently implement CI/CD pipelines in real-world projects. This course is ideal for developers, DevOps engineers, or software teams looking to automate builds, testing, and deployments. Prerequisites include basic knowledge of Git, GitHub, and programming concepts. Difficulty level is beginner to intermediate, making it accessible yet comprehensive. By the end of the course, you will be able to design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, automate testing and deployment, configure runners, manage workflows efficiently, and integrate Kubernetes and Helm for scalable production-ready deployments.
