Basic Knowledge

In this module, we will dive into the foundational concepts of functional programming, focusing on the essential principles that drive this paradigm. You'll learn how closures work in JavaScript and how to apply currying to optimize your function logic. These concepts will lay the groundwork for the more advanced topics ahead, equipping you with the tools needed to think functionally.

Getting Started with Ramda

In this module, we will introduce you to the Ramda library, which simplifies functional programming in JavaScript. You’ll learn about function composition and how to use Ramda’s powerful tools, like path, to interact with complex data structures. These tools will help you write cleaner and more maintainable functional code.

Conditions and Filtering with Ramda

In this module, we will focus on how to filter data and apply conditional logic in a functional programming style using Ramda. You will learn to use powerful functions like where, ifElse, and when/unless to handle conditions and filtering effectively. These techniques will help you write more expressive and declarative code for complex operations.

Manipulating with Arrays and Objects

In this module, we will cover various techniques for manipulating arrays and objects with Ramda. From using useWith to apply multiple functions on arguments to grouping array elements based on criteria, you will discover how to handle data in a functional and immutable way. These skills will allow you to write more powerful data transformations while maintaining readability.

Debugging Ramda

In this module, we will guide you through the process of debugging Ramda compositions. You will learn best practices for identifying and resolving issues in functional code.
