Explore the essential building blocks of C# 12 and .NET 8, from setting up your environment to mastering core programming concepts. This course provides a solid foundation for writing, debugging, and organizing modern C# applications. This course introduces learners to the fundamentals of C# 12 and .NET 8, covering environment setup, language syntax, control flow, error handling, and the basics of object-oriented programming. You will gain a clear understanding of how to structure code, manage data, and implement robust functions. By the end, you will be equipped to write, debug, and test C# applications with confidence. Through a combination of clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive quizzes, this course guides learners step-by-step from the basics of C# to foundational object-oriented programming techniques. The content is designed to build confidence and competence for those new to C# or returning to the language. This course is part one of a three-course Specialization designed to build a complete and cohesive understanding of the subject. While it offers valuable skills on its own, you'll gain the most benefit by progressing through all three courses as a structured learning journey. This course is based on C# 12 and .NET 8 – Modern Cross-Platform Development Fundamentals, by Mark J. Price. Packt is one of the world's most prolific publishers of cutting-edge technical content.
