Best practices for permissions, service control policies, and secure usage of AWS resources are also covered.

Understanding Attacks on Cloud Environments

This module explores common cyberattacks targeting cloud environments, with a focus on AWS responsibilities and essential security services. Learners will examine top cloud-native threats, understand the impact of DDoS attacks, and discover practical mitigation strategies using tools like AWS Web Application Firewall. By the end, participants will be equipped to recognize risks and implement effective defenses in cloud-based systems.

Incident Response

This module explores the essential principles and best practices of incident response in AWS environments. Learners will discover how to prepare for, detect, and manage security incidents using AWS-native tools and industry guidance.
