  • Introduction
    • In this module, we will introduce you to the course structure, what to expect, and the essentials of Fedora. We will cover the basics of Fedora's history and its position in the Linux world. Additionally, you will learn the key differences between Fedora Workstation and Fedora Server to help you determine which edition is best suited for your needs.
  • Installing Fedora Workstation
    • In this module, we will guide you through the entire process of installing Fedora Workstation. You will learn how to download the ISO, meet system requirements, set up a virtual machine, and complete the installation. Finally, we'll walk you through logging in, navigating the desktop, and confirming that your installation is successful.
  • Installing Fedora Server
    • In this module, we will walk you through the installation process of Fedora Server. From downloading the ISO to setting up a virtual machine, you’ll get hands-on experience with the installation process. You will also explore Cockpit, a powerful web interface for managing Fedora Server.
  • Core System Administration
    • In this module, we will dive deep into the core aspects of Fedora system administration. You’ll learn essential networking concepts, how to update and maintain both Workstation and Server systems, and how to manage software packages. Additionally, you will become familiar with the command-line interface, service management, and disk management tasks.
  • Users, Permissions, and Security
    • In this module, we will focus on the critical areas of user management, file permissions, and system security. You will learn how to create and manage users and groups, control file access permissions, and understand the safe use of sudo for administrative tasks.
  • Workstation Focus
    • In this module, we will focus on customizing and optimizing Fedora Workstation for your productivity and enjoyment. You will learn how to personalize your environment, use productivity tools like LibreOffice, and even set up Fedora for gaming and development.
  • Server Focus
