Syllabus

  • The Evolving Threat Landscape
    • In this module, we will examine how the cyber threat landscape is being reshaped by AI. You'll learn how attackers use automation, deception, and personalization to launch sophisticated intrusions. We’ll also assess how technologies like IoT and cloud amplify threat vectors in this new AI-powered era.
  • Phishing in 5D – Smarter Scams
    • In this module, we will dive deep into next-generation phishing scams powered by AI. Discover how attackers craft realistic voice clones, synthetic videos, and emotionally targeted lures. You’ll explore the psychology and technologies that make these scams highly deceptive and difficult to detect.
  • Shadow AI – Risks in Everyday Tools
    • In this module, we will uncover the hidden risks of unsanctioned AI tools used across teams and departments. You’ll learn how AI extensions, chatbots, and productivity tools can inadvertently expose sensitive data. The module covers real-world risks—from behavioral mimicry to AI-fueled brute-force attacks.
  • Cyber Hygiene 3
    • In this module, we will reinforce essential cybersecurity hygiene in a world where AI amplifies attacker capabilities. Learn proactive behaviors that protect personal and company data. We’ll also explore how behavioral biometrics add a layer of protection in user authentication.
  • AI for the Good Guys
    • In this module, we will explore how security teams can leverage AI to outpace threats. From detecting anomalies to preventing fraud and phishing, AI is a force multiplier. You’ll also learn how automation and human intervention must work hand-in-hand for robust cybersecurity.
  • Agentic AI – The Rise of Autonomous Cyber Threats
    • In this module, we will explore the rise of agentic AI—systems like AutoGPT and Devin that can plan and act independently. You’ll examine their capabilities, including both malicious uses and defensive roles. Real-world examples help illustrate governance, containment, and ethical concerns.
  • Data Privacy, Ethics & Responsible AI Use
    • In this module, we will cover the ethical and legal dimensions of AI in the workplace. Explore regulations like GDPR and HIPAA, and how organizations can stay compliant with evolving laws. You’ll also assess the risks of AI misuse, especially when sensitive data is involved in model training.
  • The Human Firewall 2
    • In this module, we will strengthen the "human firewall"—your employees. You’ll learn how to spot AI-enhanced threats, act swiftly in response, and build strong communication with security teams. We’ll also discuss how to foster a workplace culture that values early and proactive reporting.
  • Role-Based Security Awareness in the AI Era
    • In this module, we will personalize cybersecurity awareness by job function. From AI-generated payroll scams to deepfake interviews and DevOps prompt injection, every role faces unique risks. You’ll gain practical, role-specific tactics to secure workflows, tools, and communications in your domain.
  • Final Reflection - Building a Secure Future Together in the AI
    • In this module, we will conclude with key reflections from the course author on navigating cybersecurity in an AI-driven world.
