Syllabus

Developing the BI Server Repository
- This module guides learners through the process of building and managing the OBIEE RPD metadata repository, including configuring physical, logical, and presentation layers. You will explore key concepts such as data source integration, dimension hierarchies, consistency checks, and the use of variables and initialization blocks to support robust BI reporting. By the end, you'll be equipped to structure and optimize BI repositories for effective data analysis.
Creating Dashboards and Analyses

Usage Tracking
- This module guides learners through enabling and configuring usage tracking in Oracle BI to monitor user activity and system performance. Participants will learn how to update server configurations and customize tracking setups for different implementation sizes. By the end, learners will be able to leverage usage data to enhance BI adoption and efficiency.
Improving Performance
- This module explores techniques to enhance dashboard performance by identifying bottlenecks, optimizing server and database configurations, and leveraging caching strategies. Learners will gain practical skills to improve response times and ensure a smoother user experience.
Using the BI Admin Change Management Utilities
- This module introduces key utilities for managing changes in OBIEE repository development, including strategies for multiuser collaboration and merging separate RPD files. Learners will gain practical skills in using tools that support teamwork and streamline the change management process in BI environments.
