Introduction

In this module, we will introduce the course and provide an overview of the workshop. You’ll get a preview of the techniques and tools that will be covered as we dive into creating jungle vines with Blender's Geometry Nodes.

Blender Basics and [Resource Pack]

In this module, we will walk you through the basics of the Blender viewport and key tools to help streamline your workflow. We’ll also introduce the resource pack you’ll be using for the jungle vines project, ensuring you can make the most of the provided materials.

Vine Path in Blender Geometry Nodes

In this module, we will guide you through the process of creating the vine path using Geometry Nodes. You’ll learn how to structure curve paths, manage vine length dynamically, and position your vines naturally with the help of mesh normal offsets.

Blender Random Spawn Points in Geometry Nodes

In this module, we will teach you how to introduce random spawn points for your vines to create a natural, scattered appearance. You’ll also learn how to optimize your Geometry Node setup and use a Boolean switch for enhanced flexibility in the generation process.

Blender Geometry Nodes Parameter Customization

In this module, we will dive deeper into customizing vine parameters. We will show you how to adjust mesh scaling, distribute meshes along curves, and introduce randomness to the leaves for a more realistic look. You’ll also learn to fix overlapping curves for cleaner geometry.
