Syllabus

Preparing Tools

In this module, we will introduce learners to Angular testing and the tools required for effective testing. We will guide them through project setup, installing Node.js, and reviewing prepared source code. By the end, learners will be ready to write and run their first tests.

Unit Testing

In this module, we will cover the essentials of unit testing in Angular. Learners will practice testing services, HTTP interactions, and observables using Jest. They will gain hands-on experience in creating robust and maintainable unit tests.

Testing Angular Components

In this module, we will focus on testing Angular components effectively. Learners will apply testing techniques to simple and real-world components. They will also explore asynchronous testing and route guard validation.

Testing NgRx

In this module, we will explore testing applications that use NgRx for state management. Learners will practice testing reducers and components connected to the store. By the end, they will be able to validate state and UI interactions effectively.

Angular E2E Testing

In this module, we will introduce end-to-end testing in Angular. Learners will write tests that simulate user interactions and validate application flows. They will gain hands-on experience ensuring full application reliability.

Homework

In this module, we will assign homework exercises to consolidate learners’ testing knowledge. They will practice unit and E2E tests independently. This step ensures learners are confident in applying Angular testing concepts in real projects.
