Syllabus

  • vSphere and the Software-Defined Data Center
    • In this module, we will introduce the foundational concepts of virtualization and its application in data centers. You will learn about vSphere, ESXi hosts, and their crucial role in the Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC). By the end of this section, you will gain practical experience in configuring ESXi hosts through the DCUI and Host Client.
  • Virtual Machines
    • In this module, we will explore the essentials of virtual machines, from creation to configuration. You'll learn how to provision a VM, install VMware Tools for enhanced functionality, and gain insights into the internal architecture of a VM. Additionally, we'll touch on container systems and how they relate to virtualization technologies.
