This course is the first of a series that aims to prepare you for a role as an entry-level IT Support Specialist. In this course, you’ll be introduced to the world of Information Technology, or IT. You’ll learn about the different facets of Information Technology, like computer hardware, the Internet, computer software, troubleshooting, and customer service. This course covers a wide variety of topics in IT that are designed to give you an overview of what’s to come in this certificate program. Syllabus

Tooling Profissional: TypeScript, frameworks e validação
- Neste módulo, vamos mergulhar no TypeScript para backend e entender por que ele se tornou o padrão. Também vamos estruturar APIs com Fastify, aplicar validações e middlewares, persistir dados com PostgreSQL e Drizzle, automatizar a documentação com OpenAPI e preparar a API para versionamento.
Arquiteturas, testes unitários e testes E2E
- Neste módulo, vamos começar a criar uma aplicação de vídeos em Node.js e refatorá-la para organizar responsabilidades. Vamos explorar testes unitários e de integração, padrões como Repository e Use Cases e as camadas de domínio, aplicação, infraestrutura e interface.
Segurança e autenticação com JWT
- Neste módulo, vamos partir de uma API vulnerável para construir um sistema robusto. Vamos implementar autenticação com JWT e Refresh Token, proteger senhas com hash, restringir endpoints privados e aplicar autorização baseada em papéis com RBAC.
Escalabilidade, Deploy e DevOps
- Neste módulo, vamos escalar e preparar a aplicação Node.js para produção. Vamos aplicar cache com Redis, delegar tarefas pesadas a filas e jobs em segundo plano e finalizar com deploy na Fly.io, Dockerfiles e automação com GitHub Actions.
