Did you know every NEFT and RTGS transaction in India must meet ISO 20022 compliance by the RBI's 2025 deadline — and most institutions are still mid-migration? This Short Course was created to help Business Analysis professionals accomplish end-to-end ISO 20022 migration validation for domestic settlements. By completing this course, you'll validate schemas, map SWIFT MT-to-MX payment data, and remediate live workflows — skills you can apply the next day on active migration projects. By the end of this course, you will be able to: ● Apply NEFT and RTGS ISO 20022 schemas to validate mandatory and conditional payment fields for domestic real-time settlements ● Analyze legacy SWIFT MT messages to map each data element to its corresponding MX structure for migration workbooks ● Evaluate existing settlement workflows to identify remediation steps required for ISO 20022 compliance by the 2025 deadline This course is unique because it targets India's specific RBI-mandated ISO 20022 migration timeline with hands-on schema validation and workbook exercises. To be successful, you should have a background in payment operations and SWIFT messaging at CB2 intermediate level.

Syllabus

  • Validating ISO 20022 Schemas for NEFT and RTGS Payments
    • You will apply pacs.008 ISO 20022 schema rules to validate mandatory and conditional payment fields for NEFT and RTGS domestic settlements.
  • Mapping Legacy SWIFT MT Messages to ISO 20022 MX Structures
    • You will analyze legacy SWIFT MT103 messages to map each data element to its corresponding pacs.008 MX structure, documenting enrichment decisions in a migration workbook.
  • Evaluating and Remediating Settlement Workflows for ISO 20022 Compliance
    • You will evaluate existing NEFT and RTGS settlement workflows to identify gaps against ISO 20022 requirements, classify them by settlement finality risk, and produce a prioritized remediation report for the RBI compliance deadline.
