Syllabus

Introduction to Learn Java Programming

In this first module we introduce you to the programming language Java: the history of Java, what makes Java important, and we discover the building blocks of a Java program. Then we show you some common programming errors. Finally, we discuss the seven phases involved in developing a software program from inception to final release.

Elementary Programming

In this second module you will learn how to solve practical problems programmatically. Through these problems, you will learn Java primitive data types and about related subjects, such as variables, constants, data types, operators, expressions, and user input and output.

Conditional Statements, Mathematical Functions, Characters and Strings

In this final short module you will learn how conditional statements and mathematical functions work well together and provide the tools needed to properly tackle complex problems.
