Information Systems Implementation and Business Resilience is the second course of Exam Prep: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Specialization. Database concepts, including relational models, controls, and DBA responsibilities, are also covered. The course concludes with business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including backup strategies, system resiliency, and RTO/RPO analysis, equipping learners to ensure organizational stability and preparedness in the face of disruptions. The course is divided into three modules, and each module is further segmented into Lessons and Video Lectures. This course facilitates learners with approximately 2:00-2:30 Hours of Video lectures that provide both Theory and Hands-On knowledge. Also, Graded and Ungraded Quizzes are provided with every module to test the ability of learners. - Module 1: Information Systems Implementation - Module 2: Information Systems Operations - Module 3: Business Resilience This course is designed for IT auditors, audit managers, security professionals, and consultants. Their current job roles often involve assessing IT and business systems, managing risks, ensuring compliance, and implementing controls. By the end of the course, learners will be able to: - Manage IT Assets, Operations, and Service Levels. - Understand Database Concepts, Controls, and Administration. - Grasp Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning.

  • Information Systems Implementation
    • Welcome to Week 1. This week, we'll explore core project evaluation methods and management structures to understand how to initiate and assess successful IT projects. We’ll dive into crafting strong business cases and conducting feasibility analysis to support informed decision-making. You’ll gain insights into Agile and Object-Oriented System Development Methodologies, including their practical applications. We'll also examine data validation techniques such as parity bits, checksums, and CRC. Rounding out the week, we'll cover essential testing methodologies and the critical processes involved in system migration, infrastructure deployment, and data conversion.
  • Information Systems Operations
    • Welcome to Week 2. This week, we’ll explore key concepts in enterprise IT operations and database management. We’ll begin with IT Asset Management and dive into job scheduling and automation of production processes. We’ll gain insight into systems performance management, followed by approaches to problem and incident management for improved IT resilience. We’ll then introduce IT Service Level Management to ensure alignment between IT services and business expectations. Shifting focus to databases, we’ll examine the relational model, checks and controls, and conclude with DBA roles, responsibilities, and segregation of duties.
  • Business Resilience
    • Welcome to Week 3. This week, we’ll focus on keeping critical workloads running when things go wrong. We begin with Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify vital processes and quantify risk. Next, we examine System Resiliency techniques that harden infrastructure against failure. You’ll then design a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan (BCP), selecting the right Backup types and mapping Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) targets. We’ll compare alternate recovery‑site options—cold, warm, and hot—and wrap up with end‑to‑end Disaster Recovery plan scenarios, illustrating backup, replication, and failover strategies.
