Google Cloud Operations, Security & AI is designed to provide learners with a strong understanding of Google Cloud data ingestion, migration, cloud operations, security, monitoring, and artificial intelligence services. The course focuses on how Google Cloud capabilities can be used to build reliable data pipelines, migrate workloads, secure cloud environments, monitor operations, and integrate AI and machine learning into modern cloud solutions. The course is divided into three modules, with each module further segmented into lessons and video lectures. Learners will explore streaming data pipelines, migration strategies, DevOps and CI/CD, cloud security and governance, observability, encryption, and Google Cloud AI and machine learning services. Course Modules: Module 1: Data Ingestion & Migration Module 2: Operations, Security & Monitoring Module 3: AI & Machine Learning Services By the end of this course, a learner will be able to: Plan and build streaming data pipelines and understand data ingestion approaches on Google Cloud. Apply migration planning, Database Migration Service, and DevOps and CI/CD concepts to cloud solutions. Understand Google Cloud security, compliance, IAM, observability, encryption, and key management capabilities. Use Google Cloud AI APIs for speech, vision, and language translation use cases. Understand AI and machine learning model development and training using Google Cloud AI services. This course is intended for learners who want to develop practical knowledge of Google Cloud operations, security, data migration, and AI capabilities and build the skills required to manage secure, reliable, and intelligent cloud solutions.

Syllabus

Data Ingestion & Migration
- In this section, you'll build a strong foundation in Google Cloud data ingestion and migration, learning how to design streaming pipelines, automate data workflows, and plan successful database migrations. You'll begin by exploring streaming data pipeline concepts and gain practical knowledge of designing and building streaming pipelines on Google Cloud. As you progress, you'll explore DevOps and CI/CD practices on Google Cloud, gaining an understanding of how automation and continuous delivery can improve the development and deployment of data solutions. You'll also learn about Database Migration Service and how it supports the migration of databases to Google Cloud. The section further introduces migration planning and validation best practices, helping you assess migration strategies, identify potential issues, and validate migration plans before moving workloads to Google Cloud. By the end of this section, you'll have a solid understanding of Google Cloud data ingestion, streaming pipelines, DevOps, CI/CD, and database migration, enabling you to plan and implement reliable data migration and pipeline solutions.
Operations, Security & Monitoring
- In this section, you'll build a strong foundation in Google Cloud operations, security, and monitoring, learning how to protect resources, manage access, automate tasks, and monitor cloud environments. You'll begin by exploring compliance and Cloud IAM, gaining an understanding of how identity and access management helps organizations securely control access to Google Cloud resources. As you progress, you'll explore Cloud Scheduler and Google Cloud Observability to understand how scheduled tasks can be automated and how applications and infrastructure can be monitored using logs, metrics, and other operational insights. You'll also learn how encryption and key management help protect sensitive data and support security and compliance requirements. The section further introduces Cloud Datalab, helping you understand how cloud-based data analysis and exploration can support data-driven workflows. By the end of this section, you'll have a solid understanding of Google Cloud operations, security, compliance, and monitoring capabilities, enabling you to manage access, protect data, automate operations, and monitor cloud environments effectively.
AI & Machine Learning Services
- In this section, you'll build a strong foundation in Google Cloud AI and machine learning services, learning how to integrate pre-built AI capabilities and develop machine learning solutions on Google Cloud. You'll begin by exploring Cloud Speech API, Cloud Vision API, and Translate API, gaining an understanding of how these services enable applications to process speech, analyze images, and translate text across languages. As you progress, you'll explore AI Platform and Cloud AutoML through practical demonstrations, gaining hands-on experience with model training and understanding how Google Cloud simplifies the development and deployment of machine learning solutions. The section concludes by bringing together key AI and machine learning concepts while exploring best practices, potential next steps, and relevant job roles in the cloud AI ecosystem.
