Introduction to Cloud Computing

In this module, you'll begin a foundational exploration of cloud computing, whereby you’ll focus on its core concepts and benefits. Next, you’ll take an in-depth look at what cloud computing entails, exploring its fundamental principles and how it has revolutionized the computing landscape. You'll examine the various models of cloud computing and gain insights into real-world applications that leverage the cloud.

Exploring Core Azure Services

In this module, you will discover the fundamental components of Microsoft's cloud platform, providing insights into their features and applications. This module covers essential Azure services, explores advanced features, and emphasizes integration to demonstrate how various services can be combined for robust and scalable solutions.

Azure Management and Governance

This module provides insights into tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for automated resource deployment, Azure Policy for enforcing standards, and Azure Monitor for proactive resource monitoring and optimization in the Azure ecosystem.

Final Project and Assessment: Cloud Computing Essentials with Azure Management

In this module, you'll apply the knowledge and skills you gained throughout this course by completing a course project and final assessment. The project will focus on deploying resources using ARM templates to automate infrastructure deployment, implement best practices, and enforce organizational standards through Azure Policy. Furthermore, you will demonstrate how to proactively monitor and optimize resources using Azure Monitor, create alerts and notifications, and analyze usage for optimization. Finally, you will generate a comprehensive report on achieved optimization and adherence to organizational standards. This will include documenting the implemented templates, policies, and monitoring configurations.
