This course is an introduction to the basics of Financial literacy. You will learn specific lexis and language to talk about aspects of personal finance like budgeting, saving and borrowing, and will have opportunities to improve your English language speaking, listening and reading skills at the same time. Practical tasks and activities develop language as well as finance competencies.

    • This lesson practices collocations and language related to investing, buying and selling, and banking.
  • Long-term financial planning
    • This lesson explores financial language related to planning for the future, with an emphasis on long-term investments, risk awareness, and debt management.
  • Retirement and financial security
    • This lesson develops language to understand and plan for retirement, covering pensions, healthcare considerations, financial protection, and income in later life.
