Introduction to Generative AI

In this module, we introduce GenAI and gives an overview of the current research and business landscape in the field, the timeline of it’s evolution and important milestones. Additionally the learners are introduced to relevant technologies at a high level to allow for a better understand of the unique characteristics and challenges of GenAI. So let's get started!

What’s behind Generative AI?

In this module, the learners will learn about the history and technology behind text and image generation. In addition, they will see how these concepts can take us to applications beyond chat, and prompt-to-image. This will help the learners understand the different shapes GenAI can take.

Case Studies: Strategies and Social Impact Objectives

In this module we will look at scenarios where using GenAI is beneficial, and when we are better off not using it. Then learners will use this to analyze the successes and failures of GenAI projects. This module will identify the common themes of the positive and negative case studies.

Present and Future of GenAI

This module presents various examples of how GenAI is already disrupting industries. Further, the module analyzes the challenges GenAI currently faces, such as technical limitations and user retention, and who is working on them. Lastly, the module looks at the future of GenAI by examining research and industry trends, as well as, understanding how GenAI can help us with many tasks but will never replace human creativity.
