Syllabus

  • Analyzing Malicious Activity and Mitigation Techniques
    • In this module, you’ll explore the wide spectrum of cyberattacks, from common malware and physical exploits to advanced intrusion and application-level threats. You’ll also learn how to identify indicators of malicious activity and detect malware effectively.
  • Defense Strategies and Security Architecture
    • In this module, you’ll learn how to strengthen systems and networks through access controls, segmentation, hardening, and security enforcement. You’ll also explore infrastructure and cloud architecture models, along with key principles for building secure enterprise environments.
  • System Resilience and Security Controls
    • In this module, you’ll explore how to secure specialized systems while ensuring high availability and resilience. You’ll also learn about network segmentation, secure device placement, failure modes, and mechanisms for secure communication and access control.
  • Data Security, Backup, and Disaster Recovery
    • In this module, you’ll understand data security strategies, classification standards, and protection techniques across different data states. You’ll also explore resilience, disaster recovery, continuity planning, and backup strategies to ensure data availability and reliability.
