Learners will explore the rationale behind comps, understand where it fits within broader valuation methodologies, and learn how to define a comparable peer group and select appropriate multiples. Data, Adjustments, and Calculations

This module takes learners deeper into the mechanics of comps by focusing on data preparation, adjustments, and calculations. Students will learn how to adjust share counts for dilution, incorporate cash and cash equivalents, and interpret financial leverage. The module also covers the application of key valuation multiples, Last Twelve Months (LTM) adjustments, and the process of gathering and organizing consistent financial data to prepare a professional comps sheet.
