Climate Change and Health Risks

Climate change is already harming the physical and mental health of millions worldwide, with inequitable impacts across populations. This course explores how health risks will evolve as the crisis deepens, who is most at risk, and why. Students will learn about the pathways linking climate change and health—from extreme heat to shifting disease patterns—while emphasizing health equity and climate justice. Through case studies and expert insights, the course reveals the urgency of addressing climate change as a critical threat to global health.
