Syllabus

  • Introduction to ChatGPT and prompt engineering
    • This module contains an overview of ChatGPT's capabilities, training process and ethical considerations, as well as the fundamentals of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
  • Offensive application security using ChatGPT
    • In this module, you will learn to exploit application vulnerabilities using ChatGPT, including API security testing, command execution and injection attacks. Additionally, you will learn how to efficiently identify and exploit XSS vulnerabilities, bypass filters and execute blind XSS attacks with ChatGPT. The course concludes with leveraging ChatGPT for SQL injection attack vectors, including bypassing web application firewalls and data extraction.
  • ChatGPT in social engineering and phishing campaigns
    • In this module, you will learn to craft social engineering campaigns, simulate phishing attacks and exploit human behavior through psychological manipulation with ChatGPT. Additionally, this course details the application of AI in spearphishing techniques and target identification, as well as ethical considerations. The course covers controlling tone, style and content in ChatGPT outputs, refining prompts iteratively and analyzing real-world phishing attacks.
  • Compare a range of ChatGPT tools used to craft attacks
    • In this lab, participants will explore various ChatGPT tools used for scanning and attacking vulnerable applications. You will need to navigate to the Infosec platform to complete this lab.
  • Advanced ChatGPT prompt engineering techniques
    • This module delves into advanced ChatGPT prompt engineering techniques to improve response quality and control tone, style and content. Participants learn to refine prompts iteratively, set clear objectives and evaluate prompt outcomes. They explore crafting clear and specific prompts, adjusting tone and leveraging prompt templates.
  • Exploiting ChatGPT in Red Teaming operations
    • Explore the role of ChatGPT in Red Teaming operations, including vulnerability identification, technical reconnaissance and attack simulation. You will learn to tailor ChatGPT queries for specific reconnaissance objectives, design custom malware payloads and integrate ChatGPT with cyber range environments. Additionally, participants explore crafting customized attack scenarios, generating custom payloads and conducting network penetration testing with ChatGPT.
  • Simulate a real-world attack using ChatGPT
    • A look at attack simulation and offensive security with ChatGPT. You will need to navigate to the Infosec platform to complete this lab.
